reporting sick to work: a guide to etiquette

colon_closed_bracket [Edit] [Delete] 15:08, 13 October '10

received this email from a colleague this morning:

"Just given up trying to stop myself from throwing up, going to try and work from home today, book it as leave or anything, I don't care."

makes me think that she's been sick on her keyboard.

hints? I would imagine there is a wealth of experience of pulling sickies on the boards.

bonus comment: PEOPLE WHO struggle into work with a cold and pass it on, versus PEOPLE WHO will pull a sickie at the slightest hint. thoughts?
