Expert IT Help Required (preferably onewordNigel/sevenwordsSteven)

foppyish [Edit] [Delete] 12:00, 28 October '10

We have a virus and this email has just been sent out:

"All

Our anti-virus software has detected a virus on our network. It appears that the virus has been introduced by a USB stick or other external device infected with the virus being connected to our network. We are in the processes of cleaning the virus off the network, however we are having to turn up the virus detection rate on the network so you may notice that the network is slower today.

Please could everyone ensure that they do NOT connect any external devices to the network until we have removed the virus from the network and isolated where the virus has come from. So do not plug in any USB drives, external drives, personal phones or any other equipment into your USB ports. IOP Blackberries can be connected but no other devices."

OH NOES.
