There's never quite enough yolk in your standard egg to satisfy all your chips, right?

Just like some may have ketchup or brown sauce, surely there would be a market for egg yolk sauce. Is this as laughably preposterous as my other half would have me believe?

Of course, whether it's possible or not is another question (I would have expected to see it by now if it were, in fairness) but to put this in perspective this discussion came up while watching Dave Gorman's Genius which in itself heralds ridiculously impossible ideas as genius.

Far from calling myself a genius, I have two questions...

1) Is the idea itself really that bad? I think there'd be a healthy market for it.

2) The burning question, is it possible? I'm willing to accept a substitute (I'm thinking some kind of granule-based approach)?

I just want more yolk for me chips!
