My colleague is currently working on a story about a sighting which has got the office discussing it.

The thing is, I'm perfectly willing to believe eccentric people released various big cats into the wild following the Dangerous Animals Act in the seventies. But surely if there were a few out there, there would be much more solid physical proof?
