ok, so my sister knows someone who has a son working in an industry i'd quite like to get into and his mum has passed on his number for me to give him a call...

i'm just thinking...what's the ettiquette with this?

i know that you're meant to be all elbows and bolshy when it comes to getting contacts and advice and whatever....but this feels bloody silly.
