Techie Help Needed (Router Ethernet/DSL RJ45 to RJ11-centric)

saps [Edit] [Delete] 12:51, 18 November '10

Guys

I throw myself upon your mercy

I'm trying to set up a wireless connection in a room (within a building with ridiculously thick walls).

My problem is that the broadband feed is hardwired through from another room and comes from an RJ45/Ethernet socket. Most wireless routers have only one input socket which is (A)DSL.

I think I need either a router that has an RJ45/Ethernet input or an RJ45 to RJ11 adapter if such things exist.

Agree? Disagree? Etc?
