Does anyone know anything about Macros on Excel?

colon_closed_bracket [Edit] [Delete] 08:42, 24 November '10

I have a list of clients with my review date on them. I want to be able to (at the click of a button) change the review date to 42 days after the existing review date (e.g. change to 04/01/11 where current review date is 23/11/10).

My solution thus far has been something like this:

Column A with review dates
Column B =A2+42

then trying to record the macro by:
selecting A2
copying B2
paste special values back into A2

However if I then try to use the macro on, say, A4, it still selects B2 and copies it into A2.

So basically I want the macro to reflect a relative position (so: go one row right, copy, go one row left, paste special values).

Or if there's a cleverer way of doing it then let me know.

Thanks!
