Inspired slightly by what TheWza was saying in another thread... I always find it odd when people say things like:

"My girlfriend is my best friend"

or

"He's not just my boyfriend, but my best friend too"

I mean... obviously you need closeness on a friendship level for it to work and work well but... being your BEST friend? I've never got it. I mean it's important to have SOME distance there right? Different people for different needs and all that...?
