i'd just arrived at work and went over to the counter to see what i was working. as i turn to go back to the shop floor, that girl that i was recently seeing that i made all the mental threads about was at the front of the queue...

i then execute the most breezy, nonchalent, completely disinterested but not sulky, 'heyyoualright', nod of the head type thing before an instant transition into a purposeful walk away to the shop floor, completely winning.

so yeah...i could've gone red and stuttered. i could've been doing some menial task. i could've beeen doing job's chicken dance for stu again.

but no. the big man gave me a break and turned me into paul newman for 5.4 seconds.
