Office-related injuries obviously can't compare to industrial ones, but I had a pretty hairy experience just minutes ago.

I was absent-mindedly chewing the lid of my biro when my hand slipped, pushing the lid into the gum between two of my teeth. This was very painful but I managed to subdue my scream of agony by clamping my hand over my mouth. I didn't tell my colleagues sitting either side of me - preferring to internalise my shame.

Obviously this doesn't really compare to being run over by a forklift truck, but it may well make it difficult to drink coffee between now and hometime.
