i have recently found a giant correlation of you all being terrible. the general rule for all of it is that the mega-earnest while terrible aren't as bad as people who are fiercely antimegaearnest.

prominent examples:

massive earnest veges/vegans - rubbish.
I HATE VEGETARIANS, I LOVE MEAT, IMMA EAT TONS OF MEAT types - far worse

"real music, x factor is terrible, lame track for christmas no.1" types - rubbish.
people who give the effort to hate the above and religiously protect it, despite it just being really boring lets be honest - far worse

gap year people - usually rubbish
people who are like "THEY USED THE WORD 'TRAVELLING' INSTEAD OF HOLIDAY I HATE THEM SO MUCH" - far worse

i am none of these things and i'm really excellent
