Would you rather have dark mornings or dark afternoons?

virago [Edit] [Delete] 10:01, 6 December '10

The Daylight Saving Bill is currently on its way through the Commons. The Bill seeks to change the clocks so that we have BST in winter, and BST +1 in summer. Essentially it means that it would get light an hour later than it does at the moment, but it would also stay light for another hour at the end of the day.

Supporters of the Bill say how great an extra hour of light would be, but presonally, I think it's outweighed by how sucky an extra hour of darkness in the morning would be. In London in December it wouldn't get light until 9.04, and in northern Scotland not until 9.57.

Thoughts?
