The Daily Mirror

simon_t [Edit] [Delete] 20:46, 9 December '10

is Britain's third biggest selling newspaper, and I've realised on seeing these statistics that I know nothing about its current state. I don't know who the editor is, who their big columnists are, who their main sportswriters are.

Is it because, being naturally left leaning to an extent, they never produce features that get passed around Twitter and forums for people to affect anger and shock at?

(If you have ever wondered, going by November's figures it goes: Sun, Mail, Mirror, Star, Telegraph, Express, Times, FT, Record, Guardian, Indy. Yeah, the Daily Star is Britain's fourth biggest selling daily newspaper. We used to make things in this country.)
