So I've had what apparently is this syndrome

on and off for about four years now, and it seems to be getting worse as I get older. Its like an intense shooting pain in my leg, which takes my breath away its so painful. I can't really do any sports without being junked up on Ibuprofen, and although I've followed advice from both doctors and physios I've never managed to be totally rid of it..

Anyway, my friend has had to stop playing football as he's got exactly the same pains now (we're both 24 and otherwise healthy) - WTF is with that?
