I was walking home at about 11:30pm, having just watched Arcade Fire, and as I walked by Cardiff Castle I noticed something in the corner of my eye that I wouldn’t class as ‘normal behaviour’ so curiosity turned my head and forced me to confront the appalling nature of what I was seeing. A man with his trousers and pants around his ankles, and his lady-friend down on her knees - going to town. It was so shameless! He was leaning against the Castle’s side gate. In full view of assorted pedestrians, passing cars, and the customers of 2 or 3 large pubs and bars.
