I'm replacing my totalled bike today and want something mostly for commuting..but also something that can handle some light off roading and some mid-long distance.

I thought of getting a touring bike but they are a bit too sluggish for the city and look gay.

Getting a proper road bike would mean no tracks either.

So i was thinking about a cyclecross...best of both worlds ?
