I just experienced one of these for the first time in 'PC World'.

Despite the viewing display obviously having been designed for midgets (the special glasses on a stick schtick clearly hadn't been thought of for people above 5'10) leading to an uncomfortable viewing experience, I was distinctly underwhelmed by 3D TV.

The demo film was a winter olympics thing, with ice hockey, skiing, curling and some figure skating- the 3D effect was quite subtle, but appeared to be glitching a lot.. a figure skater spinning around went a bit MC Escher all too quickly, and in Ice Hockey you still can't tell where the puck is.

Does anyone here know anyone who owns one?
