This series of Live at the Apollo has been about the worst on living memory. I've just had ticket offers through for Danny Bhoy and if he's one of the best people on the circuit right now, then the comedic world is fucked.

There are a few old troopers doing good work (Noble & Bailey by all accounts, plus Lee & Herring) and a couple of new ones which I like, such as Micky Flanagan and Pete Johansson, but by and large it's dire.

Does Doug Stanhope do standup by the way? He was good on Brooker's programme.

Recommendations of good new ones please.
