I'm due to travel to Bristol on Thursday. My initial plan was to get a train but after I'd booked it my brother said he fancied coming to visit on Wednesday so on Thursday he'd give me a lift. I kept the train ticket anyway 'cos it would have cost almost as much to cancel as it did to buy it in the first place.

At the present time the snow between Bristol and London means it may not be safe/practical for my brother to drive and all train services from London to Cardiff (which is the Bristol train are cancelled) with no back-up plan.

So I may be spending Christmas on my own in London at this rate... Anyone else in danger of getting fucked over by the weather conditions?
