hi!

i've been meaning to write a thing about rape/revenge themes in horror(ish) films, but i feel that there are too many gaps in the chronology. so i come to you, dear internet, hoping that you can point out some relevant films to me that i might have ignored or forgotten about. they don't even have to be very explicitly rapey – i'll be looking at things like Attack of the 50ft woman, which only deals with revenge that is unrelated to rape, and even Hard Candy - in which no sexual acts actually take place. so in a way it's gone full circle (obviously via ISOYG and Last House on the Left). so i have one really recent, one really old, and two from the 70s. and that might actually be enough, but i thought i'd check with you guys anyway. because you're so clever <3
