Do your friends affect who you date?

hip_young_gunslinger [Edit] [Delete] 14:26, 14 March '11

As in, do you ever like someone but find yourself rejecting them because you know they wouldn't fit in with your friends? Which should take precedence (bros before hos?) Lots of long term couples seem to lose most of their 'mates' down the line - when do you make the call that you're going to prioritise a relationship over your friends? When I was at uni, I had a very tight group of friends, which made dating difficult because I struggled to bring someone into that - I could either hang out with one or the other.

PS I'm only starting this thread because DiS is dead today, and it has no bearing other than an absent minded hypothetical one on my current situation.
