Feeling a bit low about work today... (irrational guilt-centric)

theguywithnousername [Edit] [Delete] 13:33, 29 March '11

I had to reinterview for my job yesterday against 5 colleagues for two jobs. I really wasn't one of the favourites and had previously been told a few weeks ago I was going to be made redundant before the organisation I work for discovered a technical loophole meant they had to give me a chance to be involved in the interviews. But nonetheless I actually got it and I know one of the people who I'd actually expected to get it but didn't is absolutely devastated at losing her job.

I probably should be pleased as I've been worried about pending unemployment for months but I feel really guilty about it all - I'm pretty much the least ruthless person on Earth and I hate the idea of people being out of work so I can keep my job.

Anyway, not sure what the point is to this thread. What do you feel irrationally guilty about?
