Scooping up the dog poo in a non-biodegradable bag then leaving it on a fencepost/next to a tree/wherever for all eternity is NOT better than just leaving the it where it was deposited where at least the rain will wash it away eventually. It's an all or nothing thing really. (Preferably ALL).
