My brother and I are off to Celtic Park this weekend to watch a match for the first time since the days of Dr Josef Venglos and, having only once been to Glasgow without our Dad in tow, have previously only experienced most of the very grimmest pubs Shettleston High Street and Carntyne have to offer as we did the rounds of his old haunts. Can anyone recommend a few places that are a bit more lively for some post-match imbibing?
Something with a good beer selection, open late, not too quiet but not too clubby would be tremendous, if you have any suggestions.

We're staying in a hotel right near the river, over near where they are building the new National Arena which is further west than usual, so any late night travel advice would be much appreciated too...
