they were considering removing mine when i was a kid and i was pretty stoked about this because i'd heard that you could only eat ice cream for ages afterwards. but then they didn't and i got upset.

i'm thinking maybe i should have them removed now though. i keep getting ill and it feels like it always starts in the throat area and then spreads to the rest of my body – even if it's not a *sore* throat that's just where i feel it first. now, i did have glandular fever just over a year ago so it might just be the fact that my immune system is still pretty shitty after that, but i talked to someone who'd had like 12 throat infections in two years or something and then removed their tonsils and they were fine.

so tell me dr. internet, should i have my tonsils removed? pros/cons? tonsil removal anecdotes?
