Why does everyone hate Rupert Murdoch? Up to now I think I get a few reasons

* The extreme editorial policy of Fox News
* The loss of media plurality through his actions
* The fact his newspapers *back a horse* during elections
* That his networks make low quality stuff
* He’s got an annoying voice
* He’s really rich

However, none of the above really explains to me the vitriol that the guy excites in people. Vince Cable wants to declare war on him, Polly Toynbee thinks you deserve to get cancer if you work for him, and nobody wanted him to fully own Sky, which he controlled already, surely I must have missed something, if so what is it?
