strange tales from my life

Van_Gok_Wan [Edit] [Delete] 19:06, 29 April '11

ok two things have struck me as odd recently

1. Every night when I'm on my walk back from having dinner, along the Mannerheim Avenue, I see people stop to look up towards the top of a building. They're not pointing at anything or taking photographs. It's as if they're waiting to see an event or a clock strike the hour or something. Except there's no clock. They're not tourists either - they're businessmen and students and pensioners.

2. I was eating dinner tonight in the cafeteria (some sort of soya-based noodle dish with salad and soya milk). Then all of sudden, the entire room (about 150 people) burst into song. It wasn't just a round or a singalong or anything. It was a proper jubilant chorus with harmonies and seemed really well-practised. Couldn't make out any of the words though.

I dont really want to know what either of these things are cause I like the mystery and the foreigness.
