People who don't move away from the suburbs that they grew up in

chris-budget [Edit] [Delete] 17:24, 4 May '11

this is weird yeah?

Recently i visited a friend who still lives in the crappy suburbs that we grew up in. I find it pretty weird that he still lives there.
Anyway - he was talking about this cricket team that he is in, and half the people in the team are guys I went to school with. They all still live there. I was genuinely bewildered by this. It's not a back from uni for a year or two to save money thing, they are all like 28 - 31. Some of these people have travelled the world, seen some amazing things, and then decided to live in a small town outside of reading that they grew up in.
Is this not crazy? - it's not like an interesting or beautiful place to live.
why do people not want to explore a bit more?
