the rise of the phrase 'game-changer/game-changing'...

michael_w [Edit] [Delete] 23:45, 8 May '11

is it possible to use this without sounding like a smug prick? i'm not completely sure it is. we should probably just stop using it.

especially in technology blogs or reports from any sort of launch. or about albums.

i will allow it in the context of sexual intercourse. because then it becomes funny.

'that hand-job was a real game-changer'.

or after a light lunch or small snack

'those malteasers were a real game-changer'

actually. i'm gonna start using the phrase 'game-changer' for things that, whilst satisfying or good, have no impact on any wider context whatsoever. because i find that funny. join me if you want.

eg. 'that shit was a real game-changer'
