Bus stopping too fast shopping laden woman smash

moousee [Edit] [Delete] 14:44, 12 May '11

On my way into work this morning, I caught the bus, which is something that I don't do that often nowadays, but I was running a bit late, so I thought that I'd treat myself. It was fairly busy, and there were only two spare seats. One of them was completely taken up by a relatively fat ladies shopping. I just went further to the back and took the other seat.

The time came when this lady had to get up. She took about two minutes getting all of her shopping together, whilst the bus was still moving, then dinged the bell. The bus driver must have thought that he was really near the stop, because he slammed on. The woman, with both arms full of shopping, made a worried noise as she was FLUNG to the front of the bus. Bits of shopping everywhere, and she smacked into the front window with her face. She slid down the window comically slowly and the bus driver peered down at her. The entire bus was silent appart from one 8 or 9 year old kid who stood up and started laughing whilst pointing. He didn't stop, even when she got off the bus. She left most of her shopping.
