extravagantly 'high-tech' devices

robluvsnic [Edit] [Delete] 15:52, 17 May '11

In my bathroom I have an automatic soap-dispenser. Has some kind of sensor, so that when you put your hand under the nozzle, it dispenses a perfectly measured quantity of liquid soap into your awaiting fingers.

Forget the near-barbarism of picking up a bar of soap and rubbing it between your palms. Forget even the manual labour involved in pushing down on a liquid soap pump. I get my soap space-age style.

Hit me with other examples of ludicrous and pointless high-tech about the home or workplace.
