Has anyone seen this yet? Seems to have been panned by the critics, however they all seem to be trying to put together some intellectual critique of what the movie should be, thus missing the point of it completely.

Yes, it's exactly the same premise/has similar set pieces as the first one, but its still brilliant :) My advice is if you liked the first one, ignore the reviews and go and see it.
