So Rihanna has a song out which is about men being rapey bastards and what should happen to rapey bastard men who indulge their rapey impulses.

She has a fairly graphic video to go along with the song which involves her being raped, then hunting down the man who raped her and executing him, cap to the dome.

I don't really see a problem with the content of this, but it's got a lot of the press and pressure groups up in arms about it.

They are really missing the point, if anything Rihanna is promoting violent retribution towards rapists, but not the rape iteself.

Some other anti-domestic violence groups who are decrying the video appear to be missing an important message, one which I would imagine most victims of rape would agree with. Namely, rapists should be executed.
