Need a new portable computer after my non-chargeable Macbook's screen cracked. Don't know whether to get a laptop or tablet. Can't really spend more than £400, what's the best option? iPad?

There's already a fancy iMac in my flat so don't really need something too powerful. Just for sitting down in front of tv/in bed checking emails, surfing web etc.

Can't can't go back to PC, please don't make me go back to PC. Someone sell me their ipad. Bamnan?
