now I'm borrowing my flatmates mac mini, I don't like it, the mouse doesn't go where I want it to ever, it's annoying.

What's a decent laptop I can buy for <£500? Needs a decent processor, no need to worry about the graphics card, as I don't really play any games anymore, and I can take the 4GB of ram out of my broken laptop for it, so that's not a huge issue, I just want a decent processor so I can run protools with lots of reverb plugins.
