i'm not sure if they've rolled this out across the board, but Asda have completely changed their bourbon.

basically...it's thinner in shape and a lot smoother in texture. it doesn't have that crumbly feel any more. also, the filling is just carefully placed blobs of cream instead of the long spread of chocolate middle. they've also given each row of biscuits their own individual wrapping to keep them in neat rows.

it's clearly a way to save money on both biscuit and cream, and also an effort to smarten the old boy up.

it could've been a travesty, but they still taste good to these buds.
