favourite book shops

Van_Gok_Wan [Edit] [Delete] 22:42, 23 June '11

hi,

what're your favourite book shops? i like

voltaire and rousseau in glasgow. it's the best. you really have to visit it and know what stuff you get excited by finding. and the £1 room too! i think shakespeare and co in paris is pretty hit and miss...very overpriced, not enough second hand, full of boring people who think they're great cause they, like, live there... foyles is quite good i guess. anwick bookshop isn't as great as people think. quite expensive. i don't like the swapping thing either. not good if you like keeping books after reading. the man met book stall on oxford road in manchester has been great in the past. tell me about good book shops?????

has anyone been to this? http://www.wigtownbookfestival.com/ always mean to go. my dad's family are from that neck of the woods lol.
