short(ish) version: I need an address in Manchester Chorlton I can give to my new employer to use for a week or so till I get an actual address in Manchester (other than travel lodge). Can anyone help me out?! I'm not asking to move in, just to pretend I have and maybe for you to redirect an item of post for me. If so please get in touch, you don't have to do this out of the kindness of your heart, we can talk business, though I admit I'm not sure what the market rate is for this kind of favour...!

Long (sob story) version:
Last month I decided somewhat on a whim I wanted to move to Manchester and started applying for jobs there. It soon became apparent that recruitment consultants don't like hearing "I am planning to move to x city" and want to hear "I've moved to x city". So I may have told a few little lies about living in Chorlton with friends already. Got a great job, problem is I need to start work next week and provide my employer with the Manchester address where I'm apparently staying...or come clean about not having an address yet...but I'd rather be unethical and keep up the lie as yet.

so yeah there you go...bit of a long shot but any help/advice/general ridiculing would be appreciated! and liven up my sunday night

Also where are the cool places to go in Manchester then? So I can lie about having been there! and then check them out when I get the time.
