Slightly sinister IT/Blackberry-related query...

Reckoning [Edit] [Delete] 11:24, 15 July '11

The other night. the missus and I were dozing off to sleep when her Blackberry lit up, obviously catching our attention. When she looked over at it she saw some fucker trying to access it remotely by typing in her password, and seemingly getting it right. Before he could finish it we pressed loads of buttons then took the battery out.

When she called 3 the next day, they said they'd never heard of something like this?! There also seems to be nothing similar on the web. It's transpired that the hackers did manage to get in and changed passwords to her twitter and email accounts.

So, IT folk, how did this happen? She was probably connected to our wifi at the time - would it have been someone local? I DON'T UNDERTAND.
