this is my phone, i've had it since sept 2006 and it's still going strong. battery still lasts for ages. it cost me £20 :D

so yeah, i need a new phone! and i need a contract. i'd guess £30/month is my limit, i don't want to spend any money on the phone itself, and i'd be very happy if i could have a contract of 18 or 12 months instead of 24.

but i know nothing at all about which phones are reliable, have reasonable battery life etc. etc. what is actually the definition of a smart phone ?

any advice ?
