situation as follows:

- we don't have a dress code at work; however
- i needed to wear a suit today to represent a client at court
- i'm still in my shirt and tie

can i take my tie off now? for some reason it feels a bit scruffy to do so (also shirt + trousers + no tie looks a bit like i'm drunk at a wedding)
