Or, y'know, at least acknowledge me as something other than a massive dickhead? Me and my girlfriend are looking after a friend's cat for the week: today is day one. The cat will not do anything but sit under a chair glaring at me menacingly, and has not eaten or drank a thing since it arrived at the flat this morning.

I know cats are dicks and all that, but seriously, what gives? Any tips to make him not hate me as much/at least eat something? I'm used to dogs, and definitely not used to this cold-hearted rejection.
