(Mild spoiler for most Coen Brothers movies warning.)

Their movies vary in quality drastically, but one thing that seems to unify all of them is that they all have intentionally anti-climactic endings. I have literally no idea why they do this.

I won't spoil it but I was just watching Burn After Reading and the ending, while funny, is massively unsatisfying, and it seems to be a theme of theirs to underwhelm the film that they've just made by refusing to write endings for them.

So are you a fan of The Coen Brothers? And, more specifically, their trademark style of ending their movies?
