MARTHAS AND ARTHURS:
Marthas & Arthurs (according to The Guardian "a pastoral Abba or Belle & Sebastian backing Mamas & Papas") forged their acclaimed vocal harmonies together around a campfire in the Herefordshire woods. After beginning their performing career at care homes in North London (the advantage being that the audience couldn't run away) they made a name for themselves with their Dinner Downloads, playing unplugged in people's houses in exchange for a meal and a drink or two.
Marthas & Arthurs have been attracting fans as diverse as Lauren Laverne, Frank Skinner and Radcliffe & Maconie, with their eagerly-awaited first album due for release at the end of the summer.

The Heart Strings are a North London based musical collective who have been making records when the mood strikes since 2007. Debut album ‘Try Fly Blue Sky’ was released on Grandpa Stan Records in 2008 and was a Rough Trade Album of the Year. Sophomore full length ‘Flap Your Crazy Wings’ was first released digitally in July 2011.
ECHOTONE:
Echotone are a London?based four?piece with their own distinctive sound that incorporates the essential natural juices of rock, pop, and folk with the lovely chunky bits of country and blues. Three part harmonies, catchy melodies and killer tunes are their stock in trade. Sure to get your feet tapping and your heartstrings melting, the ’Tone are currently preparing a new release and performing live.
