Have you ever been to pay tribute to a celebrity when they died?

Like Amy Winehouses house is now covered in flowers, notes and now bottles of vodka, wine and cigarettes.

I don't think I've ever been such a massive fan of a celebrity that I would go to their house and lay down some flowers or a note. It just seems a bit odd to me as its someone you never met (even though I did meet Winehouse once where I saw her shove a girl in the face). Obviously its a different story for loved ones and people you know.

I knew someone who took her children on a day out to visit Jade Goody's house to put some flowers down. We only found out she did this because we saw a picture of her child on the Daily Mail website. He was standing amongst a load of flowers, looking a bit upset. He was about 6.

Each to their own I suppose.

So have you ever done this?
Would you ever do this?
