love thy neighbour

hedgehog [Edit] [Delete] 00:46, 26 July '11

I've never felt the spirit of neighbourliness but maybe that's just me.
I strongly dislike my downstairs neighbour and have done for the best part of the last 4 or 5 years as he continues to play his tv/music/radio at a level that means I can hear the lyrics of whatever song he is listening to, and he listens to a lot of Shakira so as you can imagine, this is very fun.
I'm also not a fan of my next door neighbour (I live in a top floor flat) as she has taken it upon herself to 'police' the stair, which means she will find just about anything to complain about - for instance when our cat meows a little too loud outside our door so she will bang on our door at 11pm to let him in because it's apparently keeping her awake (and he's outside still because we, in our house, the house he is meowing outside of, can't hear him. She has also phoned the house at 6am for us to let him in) so she must have very sensitive ears.
Anyone else that lives in the same stair as me I will say hello to in passing but I genuinely don't know who lives where and don't really care too much.
Anyway, rant over.
How much do you love your neighbours?
