Do you successfully boycott anything?

Kitchmo [Edit] [Delete] 15:34, 28 July '11

Inspired by something H_Y_G said in the Maddie thread; do you *successfully* boycott anything?

The only thing I’ve ever managed to keep up is never buying or reading The Sun (Hillsborough reasons). In my youth I gave up Nestle products, but laziness and a softening of my stance means that that’s now more me trying to buy alternatives but not making a big deal out of it. I never eat battery farmed eggs/chicken at home, but I’m obviously failing at this because I never check where those things come from when eating out. There are loads of other things I’ve failed at that I’m sure I’ll remember. I’m not talking about not doing things you wouldn’t do anyway, I’m talking about denying yourself something you like for your morals.

So what have you succeeded at boycotting and what have you failed at? I imagine a lot of people end up clicking on Daily Mail links more than they’d care to admit or, like Darcy, try and eat morally but then eat KFC whilst drunk..
