It seems people have had a lot to say about Tree of Life and people were hugely excited about it.

Well, let me say this. The one (active, Hollywood) filmmaker that really excites me is Paul Thomas Anderson. I think every single one of his films has, in its own way, been a masterpiece, and I CAN'T FUCKING WAIT for his new one.

It stars Philip Seymour Hoffman as a charismatic cult leader, and Joaquin Phoenix as his right hand man. Apparently it has big parallels with the church of Scientology.

I hope its at least 148 minutes long and wildly pretentious.
