Hello all,

For about a month or something like that last season I had a go at doing a football blog, with contributions from a number of disers. Unfortunately I had to shut it down, which i did with little fanfare or acknowledgement...so, apologies for that and especially to the guys who sent articles that didn't get published.

But now...a new job, new locale, fresh season...how about a fresh start? After mulling it over for a while and talking to a few people I think it's time to bring this back.

As ever, any subject on any facet of the game is most welcome, be it refereeing, television, the tiger kit that Hull City had or a hand-written love letter to Micah Hyde.

I want this to try and get away from top-level coverage (every man and his dog does that), but essentially if you've got something interesting to say about football at whatever level...then say it.

I'm going to knock something together tonight and bob it up tomorrow i think. I would really like you guys to get involved too.
