just finished this.

definitely one of the best tv shows i've ever seen. weirdly i see that critically it's seen up there with The Wire and Sopranos but don't actually know anyone who's watched it through, and rarely see it mentioned here etc.

Couple of little flaws (death cab singalong in particular) but mostly 10/10, and probably the least flawed show i've seen. incredible set of characters, all really well acted (probably the best ensemble i can think of apart from LOST), but I think it's probably the best HBO show i've ever seen. I think as a whole it portrayed honest family life in a much more interesting way than Sopranos, and did the whole themeless individual series (usually something i'm not a fan of) in a much more interesting and less exhausting way than The Sopranos, and doesn't suffer from a tremendous drop in consistency like The Wire.
